It requires intentional design,<br>adapted methodologies, and competent youth workers who understand how to<br>create environments where young people with different abilities can participate<br>equally and meaningfully. In the field of sport, outdoor and leisure activities, young<br>people with disabilities often face structural and methodological barriers that limit<br>their participation and social interaction.<br><br>This Toolkit was developed within the project \u201cCapacity building in youth work for the<br>inclusion of young people with disabilities through quality sports, outdoor and<br>recreational activity programmes\u201d. The project aims to strengthen the capacities of<br>youth work organisations and professionals to design, manage and implement<br>inclusive sport and leisure programmes that promote interaction between young<br>people with and without disabilities.<br><br>The purpose of this Toolkit is to provide both a conceptual framework and practical<br>tools to support youth workers in adapting spaces, methodologies, and organisational<br>approaches to ensure inclusive participation. It combines key concepts related to<br>inclusion in sport and leisure with ready-to-use workshop formats that can be applied<br>in diverse community settings.
