About us

Building the Balkans – BtB is a non-governmental organization established in Mitrovica North, on October 28, 2015. BtB has been established in by 5 young members from different ethnicities in Kosovo with the aim of developing communication and relations between youngsters of different communities that live in Kosovo.

It also aims to educate, empower and involve young people in Kosovo in various activities that lead to building a successful career and sharing knowledge and practices with young people in European
countries.

We Are The Bridge Between Balkan Communities

BtB aims and has worked to involve Kosovar youth in activities related to social
entrepreneurship, environmental protection, peacebuilding and interethnic communication as an
opportunity for self- career development and community benefits, as well as the exchange of
knowledge and practices with young people from European countries and especially with the
countries of South-Eastern Europe / Balkans.

We do things differently

The organization has worked closely and actively with young people in implementing workshops on social entrepreneurship ideas (handmade products / crafts, painting) and thus contributing to the growth of their potential and creativity in order to develop entrepreneurial spirit and bring positive change in the community like the ones at the elderly house, members of Down Syndrome Kosovo and so on.
