In October 2023, we completed the training course “Circular Economy Entrepreneurship” in Zadar. From 10–18 October, 20 youth workers from six partner organizations came together to explore ways of promoting eco-friendly entrepreneurship among young people.

The program created a space for participants to share experiences from their daily youth work and reflect on the realities in their countries. It then focused on integrating circular economy principles into entrepreneurship, while introducing key competences and practical tools to support young people in developing their own initiatives and pursuing self-employment.

Participants also worked on designing follow-up workshops to be implemented in their local communities with the support of their organizations. Intercultural evenings further enriched the experience, allowing participants to share their cultures, traditions, and cuisine.

The next phase of the project will be an evaluation meeting in Zadar in March 2024. Until then, participants will focus on implementing local activities that promote sustainable entrepreneurship based on circular economy principles.

This project is supported by the Erasmus+ Programme and involves partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Italy.
