Following our participation in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Screen Smart” in Vrsar, Croatia, we organized a dissemination activity in Mitrovica to share the knowledge, experiences, and insights gained during the project with young people from the local community.

The session focused on three key topics shaping today’s digital world: Artificial Intelligence, misinformation, and critical thinking. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and practical exercises, participants explored how AI influences the way we create, access, and consume information. They also learned how to recognize misinformation, evaluate the reliability of online sources, and develop a more critical approach toward digital content.

The workshop encouraged young people to reflect on both the opportunities and challenges brought by AI, while highlighting the importance of media literacy, ethical technology use, and responsible decision-making in an increasingly digital society.

As part of the Erasmus+ dissemination process, this activity helped extend the impact of the “Screen Smart” youth exchange beyond the participants directly involved, creating opportunities for wider community engagement and continued conversations around digital literacy and responsible online participation.
