Motion to Release Emotion is a nine-day Youth Exchange bringing together 30 young people from five European countries to explore the connection between physical activity, emotional awareness and mental well-being.

Through experiential and non-formal learning activities, participants explore a variety of movement-based practices that can support emotional awareness, stress management and overall well-being. The programme combines sport, dance, yoga, breathing exercises, mindfulness, movement expression, teamwork and interactive workshops led by the participating national groups.

The exchange encourages young people to become more aware of their emotions, bodies and behaviours, while creating a space to share practices, experiences and perspectives from different countries. Together, participants develop individual and group movement-based rituals that can be incorporated into everyday life and shared with other young people in their communities.

By combining movement, intercultural learning and cooperation, the project supports young people in developing healthier and more constructive ways of responding to everyday challenges. At the same time, it strengthens well-being, encourages mutual understanding and creates meaningful connections and opportunities for collaboration among young people from different cultural backgrounds.
