This Erasmus+ project focuses on strengthening media literacy and developing the capacities of youth workers to better understand and respond to disinformation, especially when it affects minority groups and human rights. In an increasingly digital society, the project highlights the importance of recognizing harmful narratives, verifying information, and promoting responsible use of digital spaces.
Through a training course bringing together youth workers, educators, media experts, and students from different countries, participants explored the impact of disinformation on communities, learned practical fact-checking tools, and exchanged experiences about challenges faced in their local contexts. The project also supported the development of guidelines on how to respond to disinformation targeting minority groups and encouraged participants to share this knowledge within their communities.
By empowering youth workers with new skills and resources, the project contributes to creating more informed, inclusive, and resilient societies where young people are better equipped to critically engage with information and actively address online challenges.
